my family came from fortingale street but the earliest would be 1926

Had a cousin through marriage who lived in Foreman Street, I think. I used to sneek into Mimms Inn ? for an underage drink.

would you know what part of the old lodge road where the photo was taken .my mum was born 1926 and came from there.

  Left handside was Peters hill baths on the right four street corners 1 Alton St, 2 Upton St, 3 Arnon St, 4 Stanhope St ,

I lived on The Old Lodge Road from around 1954 to 1960.
 
We lived at no. 210 next to Lyons grocery shop.  A bit later my Mum ran a wee sweet shop a few doors down.
 
I used to play in the grounds of the Courthouse.

Left handside was Peters hill baths on the right Five street corners, 1 Alton St, 2 Upton St, 3 California st,4 Arnon St, 5 Stanhope St ,

My brother went to Hemsworth, I was still at Riddle Memorial Primary.  Later I went to Everton:  1960 - 64.

walked up and down there thousands of times,
my aunt martha lived off it on twickingham st.
used to walk down to the peters hill baths all the time.
and used the toilets at the top when we lived in clifton park ave where we had no toilet, but the rent was cheap. lol
