I bet that was some sight Rab, shame there isn't any photos floating around of Blair and Silver going at it.. Would love to see that picture of Stormy and Silver as well, can you remember where you seen it?

Anyone else seen any of these battles or heard about them?

I'll have a think about it Brian and see what I can do. There was a photo of Silver on another thread here. He was along with a crowd of fellas from the Markets area, so it might have been the Markets thread. I had the photo on my old computer for quite a while but lost it somewhere in the changeover.

William seems to be one of these people who like to make what they think are smart remarks about others who can't reply. .I don't think he would have made his remarks to Stormy face to face.

You are quite welcome to watch my comments, this is an open forum after all, you will notice I do not make inappropriate remarks about anyone
and certainly not someone unable to answer back due to Alzheimer's  :angry2: :angry2:

Silver McKee.

Silver lived in the Markets area and worked as a cattle drover for Allams in Oxford Street.

Stormy was a shop stewart in Issac Andrews flour mill, Percy Street.

If you want to see hard people just have a look at the faces on those wee homeless people that you used to see.
Especially the wee man that used to sleep in the doorway of that old building opposite the ABC cinema.
