would anyone have a photograph of somerdale boys secondary school and or wheatfield primary school,

If you join up here, there is probably an old photo of Wheatfield.  There are nearly 600 members!

At the top of Belfast Photos and Videos there is a thread BELFAST. On page 6 a photo of wheatfield school.
You may need to contact someone to get a better image.

Hi irishronaldo,it was Trevor(not Tony) Blair, he taught English, he was also a fanatical Linfield fan, I remember one of his favourite sayings was "I'll decorate the back of this classroom with you sonny" as he bounced a blackboard duster off the top of your head  :D

You are right jmac. It was Trever and I now recall the saying.
I also remember him grabbing you by the sideburns as he smacked you across head.
 I remember Billy White wearing a Glentoran scarf to wind him up.
Trever was my form master and not a bad bloke.
