We lived in 122 from 1951 and yes next door were the McFees, then the entry and on the other side the Crooks!

that's right I counted numbers the wrong way from my grannys house I was never out of your house
I knew your family really well im Thomas/tommy Caldwell my granny was mrs fyfe next door to beatties house

Margart, I thought it was you and Ellen  the one you cant see is your ricky /Richard and yes the other is wee Danny mac ,, in the other pic is wee danny McLaughlin , Norman wylie , eddie withers and his wee sister Anne

Is that the bottom of Grays Lane,? If so I remember that as the Telstar and before that it was the Donegal Arms.

It was the Donegal Arms, when I was a child in the 40/50s there used to be a couple of cast iron  bollards on the Grays Lane side, I used to sit on one with a bottle of lemonade and a packet of crisps while my old man was inside having a pint or two, I never went in for a pint untill about 1997/8, next time I went over it had  burned down, the other Pub I wanted to have a pint in was "McVeighs" but that went with the building of the motorway,
