Is anyones family from Beverley Street? ,or remember the Taylors?

i remember the "bruces" from beverley st, also the Surgeoners, also kenny johnson,raymond maize.
If i'd known i was goin ta live this long i would've taken better care of meself

The Taylors lived there in the 1980s when the new houses were built

they were around in the 60's - 70's.
i left there when it was still the old houses in 1974
If i'd known i was goin ta live this long i would've taken better care of meself

Hi Bricat, I worked in Isaac Andrews with some of the Maize family. I think John Maize lives in Calgary Alberta still,at least he was there in 77 when i lived there. i used to park in Beverly st where there was a side door into Isaac Andrews garage where i worked.  Tom

My old BB Captain came from the street Sammy Johnston and his brother Bobby.

I went to the "Wee Model", Percy Street PE school in the church hall at the corner of Percy and Beverley Street till it closed.
Used to catch the 77 bus at the top of Beverley St to school after that to Cliftonville Primary, the new "Wee Model"
Galways lived top end of Beverley backing on to Andrews flour mill.
Raineys other side.
Cunninghams.
Jim Perry, Captain of Lifeboys, Falls Rd Methodist Church halfway down beside the hairdressers. I believe he later owned the Rose of Shannon, formerly Mamas chippy, facing the Stadium.
Surgeoners, Albert, Raymond, Niffy and girls lived in Cumberland St, beside the waste ground at Penrith St.
