Hello William,
I think your looking for Carnmoney Cemetery Graveyard.
This little booklet I have is for Carnmoney Parish Church,a smaller graveyard further up the road from the bigger Carnmoney Cemetery.
I did look for Ballance but there is none in the book.Sorry.

I'm having trouble with my scanner, when its up and running I will scan all the names in this book and post them on this thread.
Meanwhile I will still do lookups for any one that wants it.

Magill, metal plaque lying facing above.

hello m, many thanks for that, i phoned newtownabbey council the other day, told me the date of 1908 was to early for there cemetery. did speak to mr harry hamilton, but the first name is wrong, the age and address is right ad the date. am think a mix up between the father`s and son`s name being put down. another member called headboatman is given me help, it`s very good of you both. i now know thomas is there some where. hope to hear from you soon. regards william.

Your Williams not in this book, but others may be?

hello m, just by answering my or  any message,you all help.the list of name`s will help me. i remember just finding thomas`s date and place he is buired, how great that was. every little bit counts.i will let you know when i find some other names, thanks. let me know if shrewsbury, shropshire comes up in your search. regards william.

Hallo m, you got any McMasters?  Thomas McMaster died in 1920, but his children might be in there somewhere :)

There are bound to be graves with no headstones.

who died 17th January 1894, aged 53 years.
The aboved named George Donaldson who died 6th March 1925 aged 85 years.
Their son-in-law Samuel McNeice, accidentally killed at Bowen,Queenland, 13th May 1925.

Sorry Horace Morrison isn't mention on any of the headstones.

The only headstone with William Scott on it, is,

Whittley  Grey marble stone and surround.
Whittley
In loving memory of our parents. William, died 31st January 1944, Martha Scott, died 1st July 1946.
Also their sons, Thomas Scott, died 23rd January 1911, John Scott, died 31st October 1941,
Stewart, died 21st July 1970. James F.S Whittley, died 25th August 1977,
Mary Ann Whittley, died 17th October 1988.

Flower urn- Whittley
