It's good to get this info being away from Belfast...does it have good music. ;)

No SJ, it's where the "beautiful people" meet up. It's a great place to go as a treat or if you're trying to impress a lady  ;)

Seriously though, the owner has spent an untold fortune restoring it to what it was like in the original glory days when it was the HQ of the Ulster Bank and many of the original features are retained. The main restaurant is in the old banking hall and the cocktail bar is in what presumably was an ante room off to the right of the restaurant. It is definitely worth a visit if  you are in Belfast . The chandelier in the restaurant is worth a look alone.

If you are in good company and the drink is good and the craic flowing then wherever you are you are in the right place.
Ambience and decor are secondary considerations
It is always a great source of amusement to be quoted by a fool, even more so if quoted by a disalusioned "stickie"

So are you saying that a Belfast Forum meeting wouldn't get over the front door.    There is also . I believe ,  a country kitchen bar  :)   I think that the area is one of the oldest in Belfast with cobble stone roadways. ::)
