I dont live in Belfast anymore but when we visit we always  to go the Crown Bar Its really because we lived on the grosvenor Road and this was my lovely dads local. We go in and have a drink in memory of him His favourite drink was Black bush so we have one of those. and toast him We also like the food there good value and decent. We also go down memory lane and  went to Kellys, how it has changed and not for the better.      I am no expert on the bars of Belfast so I just stick to the Crown as I like the atmosphere and its the bar my dad took me to when I was the LEGAL age to drink. he bought me my first legal drink bless him

Called in to Hewitts yesterday for a pint and walked back out again, they dont sell Smithwicks or Bass just your usual Harp or Guinness and the rest of the drought beers were all 'foreign yuppie' rubbish, not a bar for me.
Where in Belfast city centre can you get a pint of Bass?? :-\
