Service Royal Albert Hall.

Tonight many will be remembered at the Royal Albert Hall London as paying the supreme sacrifice and rightly so.

However, little will be said about the Merchant Navy who played an active roll in most conflicts.  These men and women

where all civilians and in WW2 34,000  give their all.  When a merchant ship sank the crew's wages stopped immediately.

Many do not have a grave but lie on the bottom of cold oceans.  Please spare a thought for these souls who gave their all.

I wear my poppy with pride having served in this great service. Can you do the same?  Lest We Truly Forget.
