Charlie (fonsie) bloomer went to st Anthony's from1951 to 1959 then went to st. Malachys college .
Although it's a long time ago I remember everybody in the photographs especially john howard Geordie gent
Just found out he died in 2004 rip earnie benson john Montgomery John Boden and many more .
I am now living in trim co meath

Very sorry to hear Geordie gent died in 2004 RIP .
He was my best friend throughout the fifties the last time I seen Geordie was at his brother roys funeral in 1981
I sometimes wonder how Patricia gent Marie gent and Brian gent are getting on

Marty, there were Dobbin's in Clonduff. i think they moved to Finaghy in the early '70's.   Was Jim from that family?
I think that is my family, they were from the Short Strand, moved to Clonduff and then to Finaghy in the 70s (my family home).

My uncle Jim Dobbin does live out Greenisland way and my father is Joe (Paddy) Dobbin, a joiner.

Joe was a fine joiner indeed. Ask him does he remember building the DJ booth in St.Mary Euphrasia' youth club.  :)

No doubt he does, anytime I mention a place he said he built it or knew the guy that did. I'll certainly ask him when I see him next.

was up the rd last sunday and must say i was surprised by the amount of people coming out of the chapel. last time i was at mass in st anthonys was 6/7 years ago and reckon the numbers have improved. good to see. :)

MASS on EASTER SUNDAY from St Anthony's will be broadcast on Radio Ulster at 10.15am. Feel free everyone to join us or at least listen in  :( ?? :)

hi rose. no it wasnt the pol mass . bit 2 early for me  :D  maybe it seemed more than there really was. ill hopefully listen in easter monday. hope yous are on song that day  :)  enjoy.

working on the sunday rose. so im affraid ill not hear the great vocals coming from the old parish.
