Hi
Would anybody remember the Gubbins family that lived in Ranelagh Street? My mum was Mary ( Molly) originally from the Short Strand, sisters Catherine and Briedge and my brother Michael.
Regards

Noel

Yes I lived in Ravenhill Avenue and remember your mum Molly very well and I used to take your two sisters out for walks on Sunday afternoons. If I remember, the Lundy family lived next door until they moved down to The Mount.  Mrs O'Kane is still going strong and lives in St Bernadettes Parish. A lovely lady.

Why do we remember East Belfast, with so much affection.
My son can't believe that I'm still proud of being from East Belfast, but there you go  a lot of happy days spent there, the good part it's COUNTY DOWN :)
