Saw that on LADFLEG ,in that part of the East things will never change,good luck too the large Polish community there,these people are straight out off a Ku Klux Klan film.

Does anyone remember Margaret woods and Ann Burns  who both attended ST.Monicas ,1964/1970 and both lived in and around the Castlereagh estate.

Anne Burns lived inClonduff Dr,about halfway up the street from me,she married a lad from West Belfast,who tragically lost his life in a diving accident in Donegal,20 yrs ago.
Remember Paul woods,don't think he lived in Castlereagh Est,was it Rodchester Gds?

Dont remember Tommy Mc Bride or Delaneys but yes jim rafferty,paul fullerton martin & liam knocker stevie toolan gerry christian     robert gray & Brenda Murry, I went to st pats college for two years and then went to st agustines then went to work at Drumkeen hotel till 74 and then moved to preston where i still live now

Gerry,had two Brothers Leo,(RIP)&Terence ,two very funny guys,might have had 3/4 sisters.

Gerry Christian was in the same class as me at st anthonys.
I was in the year a head of gerry,the school football team was restarted the year before I left for st pats.

Me and gerry went to see man utd & then went to see Terence at his students house before heading back for the boat home,he made us a meal of beans and toast lol.

an other big friend of mine was Michael McAvoy who lived at the bottom of tulleyard way,he had a brother called Seamus who a really good boxer and we all boxed at st Matthews in the strand.

My wife was related too the Mc Avoys( 2nd cousin),the mc combs lived in the same street,John&Hugie,mc Avoys didn't bother with many in Castlereagh,looking back I can see why..lol
