you can just see the front doors of the boys entrance into the school. creates of milk used to be stacked up there just to the right as you walked in.  the odd one used to go missing before class started

 His name was Massie Meli. I didnt know him I knew his father Freddie.

olelad. no but had cousins who lived there called Dawson. I also knew mister Crilley from Willowfield drive. I was mates with Dr Mellotte his surgery was facing the Chapel.

used to alway go to his gaff to get my hair cut. wasnt he from madrid st ?  his shop got blast bombed either late 71 or early 72.

i remember dessie crilly who was a year older than me. meet him afew years back in fact. terance dawson from the drive was in my class at st anthonys

   Thanks for the info. about Frankie Hawkins and Eugene Quigley- two of my best mates . Glad Quig got out of it and hope he is doing well.  Hawky went to Lenadoon. He lived in Omeath St. Quig and I stayed on the Woodstock /Cregagh  long after all our friends had gone- eventually they caught up with both our families.Here for anyone's interest is the class of 66/67. so far as I remember. Vinty taught us . It was a mixed class so there could have been about 18 months between oldest and youngest. Sorry have to teach. Will post list soon.

be great to see that. maybe you remember danny boyd from dromore st . he must have been in and around that age !
