St Theresa´s Primary School/Glen Road.
« on: December 02, 2011, 05:53:10 PM »
Hi guys. After having great feedback with my query on Servia Street, I was wondering if anyone had any photos of the Glen Road and or St Theresa´s Primary School. I was there from 74.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

My sisters Claire and Roisin Byrne went to St Theresa´s too....may have been around that time. Maybe you knew them.

So it´s mixed now? I didn´t know that.

When I went there was segregation too. I can remember in the older part of the school "Boys" carved up above the door. However I left in 1980!!

Hi there Mr Byrne, I went to StTheresa's Primary. We were taught by Mrs Helen and a Mr McDade. That was from 65-71. Bit before your time , but I have yet to see any school snaps, I dont remember any class photos ever being taken.
Anybody know some one who went on the Belgium - Holland trip in 1971 ? The best 10 pound trip ever, even though it was cut short with the " No Go", riots that summer. The hotel we all stayed in was tiny and had weird beds, or so I thought. You had to unbutton the sheet and lay on a soft feathery sleeping bag thing. At least thats what I did to the Duvet , as I'd never seen one before!

Hi bhelena, my two sisters went to St Teresa's from 63-67 before we moved to Lenadoon. Anne and Catherine Moore, we lived in And town Pk Sth at the time. We used to go to a chippy in Gransha at lunchtime, chips were fantastic.
