yeah, it was meadas farm, i live beside where it was. theres a new road right through where the house was. the old bridge over the river colapsed and there is a new one build now. wesley graham taught me to play the piano. he was the best blind tutor i ever saw.

Hi there
Has anyone got any photo's of Lesley Street?  My G Grandparents & Grandad & family (My dad Joe Doyle) lived there too and went to St Vincent De Paul school.  My uncle Jim Doyle & Great Aunt (Mcquade) still live off the Ligoniel Road.

The photographs and the booklet of Ligoneil brought back many memories from my childhood in the '60s.

The photos of the Methodist church were I went to the 100th Cub Scouts.Every Friday I walked from my grandmothers
house in Wheatfield Gardens to our meeting.
The photo of Isaac the barber. He used to get annoyed with us kids letting men jump the queue in front of us.
My father dragging me  to the library.
The stories of the old football teams.

I lived in Tedburn Park and still have many dear memories from those more innocent days.
