help has anyone know  off or heard off a village in antrim  called kail or something similar a friend of mine grand  mother  came from there her  name was susanna hardy  thanks manny

Hello manny,

I think Belle Fast may be correct in suggesting Kells.

When did your friend's grandmother live in the village and what was her husband's Christian name? If this information is available it might make it easier to trace them. I had a look at the Ulster Covenant Search
and noticed that very few people with the surname Hardy came from Co. Antrim in the early 1900s.

Oh, what faith did your friend's grandparents follow?

thank you both for reply yes it possibly could be Kells . she was sent to aussie for  stealing . [single woman ] think she got pregnant on ship on way out  . was protestant .actual church not known . manny
