Hi Helen, yes there is woman called "Shiela A" on here who used to live in Annadale St at the corner of Burlington St, she now lives in America, she has a brother called Brian which might help you identify her.   She also had cousins who lived up the street on the opposite side of the street from you, I take it your dad was the original "taxi driver".

I was born in Annadale st 1953 and moved out in 1959

I think Dessie Griffin was the first taxi driver that I remember. My dad did a few weddings back in the 50s. And, in the days before we had a phone, people just turned up at the house and he would have left whatever he was doing to take them where they wanted to go. Happy memories.
