I know St Augustines was near the top of the Ravenhill Road.
How many pupils attended the school? What colour was the uniform?

It was Lagan Village primary school, my mistake (well it was almost 40 years ago lol  ;D) It was the first school i went to and it was in Richardsons Street directly facing our house  Just of my Ladys Road which was of the Raven Hill Road. Then I went to Saint Monicas which was run by nuns Uniform was grey pinafore and pink shirt and i hated that head nun evil woman she was.

my cousin went to lagan village. it closed in either 1967 or 68. i started st augustines in 1969 and the uniform was black blazer, black trouses and grey jumper with red, white and black trim on the neck.
colette did you know many from willowfield drive or up round redcar st, ravenhill ave area ??

hi all Lagan Village was number 25 or 27 richardsons street going by the 1969 street directory we lived at number 48 it was an end house with a big gable wall and the school was directly facing our house.

Sorry Olelad i was born in October 1963 and sadly we were put out of Richardson street in 1968-69 and i only remember a few names from the street.  :'(

The sign in Pottinger Street that I mentioned was for the "Lagan Village Rangers Football Team Supporters Club".
