The reason you never got the tit was because yer Ma was so flat her  nickname was ironing board
and you stole the bottle of guiness out of uncle Gerry's pocket when he was upstairs ironing his shirt. ;)

HI Honestlil I used to do the paper round all around that area for Bertie Irvine at the top of Sugarfield st  1968 to 71

hey guys, this is John Flack (spelt flack not fleck)
I remeber these days very well i was part of the boot boys and bestfriends with John McCubrie and Thomas Andrews (aka isaac) havnt heard from anybody since i moved to Australia in 1973 and have lived here ever since.
I lived across the road from John McCubrie in Springmartin and miss those old days.
Hope to hear from anyone who remebers me :)

It all came back to me like a bad dream do any of you remember the Shankill tartan and ulster Boot boy gangs in the seventies and the Millies who  were dress in electric blue parallels with tartan round the bottom.
feathered hair cuts puffed sleeve tank tops.
and we dare ask our children what they were wearing.
Would love to see some pics of how we looked back then
I was on the receving end of a tartan gang outside the Belfast Telegraph office. They wore black just below the calf length trousers with tartan trim in different tartans. Scarey guys!

black trim new lodge road the nurks i got 1to 3 years in Bangor boys home for knifing 2 of them after they beat my young brother up :)
