The last two pictures - shot on August 10, 2010.

Another chunk ripped from the assembly hall. It's interesting to see how one dinosaur predates another. After taking this shot, I left and returned just over an hour later. The building had been flattened completely. I missed seeing it looking terribly crestfallen - hur, hur, hur. It didn't take the people who demolished the school long to clear up the rubble. Inside of a week or so, all trace of the old building had been erased.


These pics are great. Man I hated that school!

69-74 for me.One or two nice teachers but most were cowards,bullying kids.Ended up on the wall outside the Central Hall as founder of Stiff Little Fingers....still hated the place with a passion!

Morning guys, I've recently come across a school photo some of you may be interested in.  My brother who now lives in Spain, sent it to me some time ago.  It's from around 1979 and has around 60 sixth formers in it. I think it was taken outside the McNeilly building?  I dont have a scanner but if anyone is interested I'll get my mate to scan it and I'll post it. Let me know.
