I bumped into Frankie Gibney about 5 years ago in Cushendall. .recognised him right away and had not seen him since 1969.
Frankie lived in Edward St

hi i worked in mc glades from 1969 til 1975 from reading thru posts i think your mother  and you were in most nights her name was bridget and she love her babychams i think that your profile darcy5799 relates to the bridget and you she was a lovely woman

Is this your surname darcy, I knew jimmy lyttle,billy o'rawe was in my class other names I can't rem, can't put a name to tony, and manuel, name coming to me is manuel jennings, my 1 st name is joe (seosamh)

yes thats me was just lookin thru post and noticed edward street just your family names caught my eye bin so long i walk thru the city cem quite often and pass wr your mum and dad and bro buried

My Mother often said how nice a wee lad you were, I'm sure you would have known more relatives of mine, the Mc Canns they had a butcher's shop on the Falls near Clonard Street.

yes new that butchers well i was from spinner st lots of people from that street worked in the mills when i left the bar i took a few soveniers  2 babycham glassess

there was only three so thats wat i took still have em and yes im fit and fine how u doin

yes the mc canns had a shop beside ferris 2 doors away from the clonaed hibs long gone but never forgotten

knew manuel ok darcy,if my memory serves me right he had a knickname""tomato"my late sister in law was called rosemary arthurs,think they were related somewhere along the line she came from annadale st
