Hi mwright, I spent over 120 on searches before I learnt from a grave digger that the burials were available for FREE in PRONI.
The info from the paid searches was great 2 get but I soon discovered it was full of mistakes.
I know from reading the microfilms that some of the writing is very hard 2 decipher so I understand some mistakes but I have been given burials that were 10 years out, grave purchased by wrong person, ages incorrect and steet names wrong.
I would advise double checking all info including my own.
LGC
I should also add that when I went back to the cemetery office and explained that details were wrong I was able to get a new document with the correct info on it.

The Catherine Lundy in your list above who died 1901 (Quinn) could very well be widowed sister in law Catherine.

The above Lundy family also had 3 other children,

John Lundy, head of household was born c.1864 Down and died 1913 in Belfast.  Son of John Lundy Sr. and Margaret McQuiggan.   John married Mary Gillen/Gillan born in Randalstown, c.1864 to parents Hugh and Margaret Gillen (nee: Campbell).

I'm still picking away at trying to sort out the Lundys so I can trace more on mine lol.

I had a Great Uncle Alex Lundy My late Grandmother's brother. Her Mother was A Greer who married a Lundy. They lived on Short Strand St.Maybe some more names and I can ask my Dad who remembers so much.
Patrick Lundy married Eileen Greer from Short Strand, Eileen passed away last year aged 98. They lived in Lowery street off Seaford street then moved to the Mount area where Patrick still lives today.
Is the Alex Lundy did Alex have a brother John both of them accomplished accordion musicians?

My fathers' sister Eva McCarron married Samuel Lundy in the 1950s.They had daughters Evelyn, Margaret and Carol (I think). Just wondering if these names are related to your search.

My grandparents are Patrick Lundy and Eileen nee Greer.  We immigrated to Canada on 1969.  My grandfather is still alive and resides at The Mount my grandmother is now deceased.  I'm looking for any history on either family.

Hello again!  Still working on Lundys of Short Strand area. I've got some info, sorry if you're already heard it and please double check!

John Lundy m Kate Greer 1905 St Matt's, his father Arthur, of 8 Anderson St, her father George, 54 Clyde St.

Believe John to be son of Arthur Lundy (Annacloy, Down), father Arthur (dead) and Sarah Lundy (Cluntagh, Down), father Patrick alive, who m Ballynahinch 1873, witnesses Hugh Casement and Annie Lundy.

Believe Sarah's parents: .Patrick Lundy d1885 aged 61 at 8 Anderson, widow Sarah d1899 aged 75 at 8 Thompson Place, granddaughter Annie Sloan of 10 Anderson present at death.

Sarah Lundy d1911 aged 55, widower Arthur d1919 aged 64, daughter Sarah Lundy present at death, all 8 Anderson.

Believe I can provide further connections to this family but hesitate in case you already know this info.

As to the musicians, I have been told by man running the pub that the mural on the gable end of Madden's (Berry St?) is of fiddler Arthur Lundy.
