The concept of the Big River Jazz & Blues Festival was initiated by local blues musician Rab McCullough. As Reb said ... "Iíve played in Blues and Jazz Festivals around the world, and always thought it a shame that Belfast never held one. Especially when theyíve proven to be such a huge success in cities such as Cork and Derry. Now with the involvement and support of Guinness' and our sponsors we have been able to put together an impressive line-up of local, national and international musicians. Iím confident that the Big River Blues and Jazz Festival will grow from strength to strength in the years ahead."

Where and when?

All I get is a poster, with a link to sending "them" a request for details.

There's no sign of: "Click here to see Belfast's Big River Blues and Jazz Festival website which tells you where to get your tickets, lists all the artists and has a timetable of the events."

That's all I could see Les.

If the arrangements are the same as last year then the Festival Box Offices are at

1. Belfast Welcome Centre, 47, Donegal Place, Belfast, BT1 5AD
Phone: +44 (0) 28 9024 6609

2. Virgin Megastore, Royal Avenue, Belfast, BT1 1DD Phone: +44 (0) 28 9023 6623

3. Ticketmaster outlets.

You should also be able to pay at the door for some of the events.

That "Click here" was last year's post and I regret I can't do any editing.

Me too.

Where are all the people taking advantage of a booming Belfast and the web economy?

G, you shouldn't have to.  It should all be available on the website.

It's not difficult.  Teenagers have their own websites with audio and video.
