Anne we lived there until 1966
My Mother is one of the mills family 8 Scotland street.

not much I am afraid, he was a good age when I was a kid, it was just another candy store to me, sorry.

I remember going in to that wee shop on the right on my way to St Marys Primary School for Whopper Bars, Black Jacks and Bazooka Joe gum!

Yes it was on the corner of Instuition place and Galway street
spot that's where our old school was st mary's then we moved to new school on divis st 1959/60 orange,s academy then moved into old school

A James Butler lived at 5 Scotland st in 1918  so maybe the same Person was still there in 1921
butler's where connected to the mills in scotland st, they were english and came there for holidays in summer time

Doare, what was the name of the street off Scotland Street and behind Hamill Street (not Scotland Lane) and it was a dead end
dawson it was called scotland street south

at the divis street end of hamill street betweeen hamill street and king street was waste ground and in the middle of the waste ground was scotland street jimmy mcilwee lived in scotland street
