"Catherine Hamilton (Katie Foster)"

looking for the death/burial of Catherine Hamilton nee Foster, born 1870/ to John Foster and Ellen McKibbin.

She married Joseph Hamilton in 1890 and lived at 17 Newcastle Street.

She was my paternal great grandmother, but I don't know when she died or where she is buried (my dad thinks it was in the 1930's).

Any help appreciated, Hilary.

Hi could you look to see if there is anything relating to the burial of Joseph Mc Cloud who died in October 1920 .

He was my maternal grandmother's brother and was shot on the Newtownards Road going home from work during some "troubles".

if I could locate his grave perhaps I might find my Great grandfather .

thanks in anticipation.

"Re: Belfast Newsletter (1738 - 1925) - Births, Deaths and Marriages notices"

At a brief glance I found a Joseph McCloud who was born in October 1898 in Bridgetown, Glasgow when his father Joseph was 30 and his mother Alice (nee Connery) was 28.

He had one brother and 4 sisters.

He died on 20th October 1920 in Belfast aged 22.

His sister Tresse was born 1900 and Martha 8th February 1909.  Alice died in 1918 aged 49 in Belfast.

His grandparents were Joseph McCloud 1845-1900 and Theresa Dempsey 1847-1906.

Hi, I was wondering if you could look up John Scott who died or was buried on 12 Jan 1895. He was my great grandfather age 65 and I was wondering where he was buried.

Regards David
