This book was wonderful.  My husband and I both read it and thoroughly enjoyed it.  We were able to picture every person in the book and follow the hardships and lies and abuse surrounding the little girl Meg Duffy.   The book pulled me in and at times it was hard to put down.  I am usually a pretty slow reader but found myself picking up "Crying For Joy" at every opportunity I could get.   I would recommend to all as a very good, almost real life, heart wrenching, and at times sad story - but full of suspense and Joy at the same time.  I wish there was a second to come!

Can you tell me a little on the story. I went to Amazon.Ca but it is not available at the minute and I also requested it on Kindle.

Thanks Val  :)

My wife and I both read this book and we both agreed it was a truly good read full of suspense and very hard to put down. we loved the characters and the Belfast locations many of which we were familiar with. Great sympathy for little Meg. Would unhesitatingly recommend it as a great read.

Thankyou George for the report now you have got me really interested.

I received a PM from Sarah, that her book is not on Amazon so I will have to see if I can arrange for a family member to get me a copy and mail it to me in Canada. My niece Janice Donnelly also had a book published called, "Buying Time" and it was very good and another one coming out soon, which was also set in Belfast.

"Crying for Joy" I read this book a couple of years ago. I lent it to someone and never got it back.   >:D

I'm going to buy another copy  cos it is a book that (once into the plot) you just can not wait to see what will happen next.

Highly Recommended

Thanks to all the above people for the feedback! :-*
It means a lot to me BUT...
                                                      ??? I WANT LOTS MORE   :D

I refused publicity as I am 79 years of age and I did not grow old gracefully !!

But I've had such good results I am going for publicity on my next book which actually follows this one!

(They can airbrush my photo) :P

I read this book quite some time ago and I've been waiting ever since for the next one.

Crying for Joy is a tremendously well written book full of excitement and one of those books you have difficulty putting down.

If I were forced to make a criticism it would be that the beginning is a bit slow. It was for me anyway, but perhaps not for other people. Nevertheless a terrific thriller in my estimation.
