Does anyone remember Roy Rodgers coming to Belfast around 1957

Hi annie town, Yes. My mom took us to see his live show in the Hippodrome.


My older brother Brian was a patient in the childrens hospital at the time and met RR personally when he paid the hospital a visit during his stay in Belfast.

My nan ,Remembers it all.She said he stayed in the Grand Central Hotel in Royal AV.
It feels like yesterday  to her  . Grandpa has great memories as well .they both miss Belfast!

Remember it only 2 well as I went to one of the shows.
I seem to recall Hopalong Cassidy also came to Belfast in 50s can anyone confirm or is memory playing tricks?

I remember one of them coming to the hippodrome because my grandad was a redcap at the hippodrome and arranged with someone to get me into the Gods where I was so far away I didn't care.
