Bakelite
« on: July 01, 2013, 08:03:57 PM »
Hallo!

I've been clicking around on gumtree and ebay and that but coming up blank (or 20 postage).

Anyone have an old Bakelite radio? Wanting to wire up usb ports and play some old 2000ad shows and that on it and put it in my dads man cave.

Any ideas or know anyone that has one? Donation or for sale :)

Edit: just noticed the classifieds for sale section, sorry!

Oh aye I've heard a few stories, I'd probably buy a newish radio, gut both out and swapsies the insides so it's a bit more up to date.

Heard a fella fae here tried using a raspberry pi but it went on fire, he snapped a few pics of the aftermath beside a big bottle a glenns vodka, love his style lol
