Hi Hathaway,  yes we must indeed have been in the same p1. Class, we had a lady teacher was her name Rodgers ? By any chance.
Gilcrest took me in p 6 in glenwood, he used to throw a tennis ball or a stick of chalk at you if you where talking in class lol.   I remember mr Clarke as well, also Anderson Mccomb ( jiffy ). Mrs Moore,  sam.

I would have been a few years later than you, I would have left in 71,  the classes then where set out in Victory,  I was in 1c, 2i and 3i.  Sam.

I went to Ballygomartin from 65 to 69. In first year you had 1G1, 1G2, 1G3, 1G4, 1A, 1B, 1C, in fourth form you had 4G1, 4G2, 4G3,  & 4H1,
The number of classes got smaller as you moved into third and fourth form, as some boys, because of their age, would leave at Xmas and most others in June.
So in first year, you had seven classes and in fourth year you had five classes. Class sizes were usually around 35 boys in my day.  :)

The old school was Mayo street school,  I just spent primary one there, then it closed, and we all went to Glenwood, that would have been around 1962.
I was there at that time as well
