 :hi: PW    there is certain to be a reference to your vessel in Llyods Register of ships.
                 Most major libraries would hold copies.I think you may be able to get your info from them on line also

My father served on the Balaena whaling ship. do you have any relations who served on it.

Yes samm my father in law had worked on the balaena through out the 50s 60s I beleive he did have some photos of it back then
