Hi ducky

The Odyssey to Jurys hotel is aprox 1.3 miles, 4-5 mins in a taxi. Plenty of clubs within walking distance of Jurys, enjoy your stay.

Jurys is like 15 minutes walk to odyssey or 4 minutes in taxi which should cost no more than £6.
bars close to hotel are : the Washington for food and drink, few bars around the city hall which is close is the basement, small underground bar which does food also, ten square hotel/bar, the apartment is more of a classy bar, no trainers etc, berts jazz bar back of the merchant hotel is a good spot if into jazz, if you are with the other half  café vaudeville is a good spot for couples.

enjoy

Hi Manu4life
Great information on bars Thank you
Where is the Apartment Bar and the Merchant Hotel  located and does  the" "Apartment bar" have music?
Are both these establishments close to the center of the city?
Thank You Again
Sandra

Me and the missus are going as well. The Odyssey is full of american type theme bars and vastly over priced. Stick to the Cathedral quarter - the John Hewitt and the Duke of York. The Duke will probably be bunged with people by the time the concert is over but it has a great front beer garden if the weather is kind! :drinks:

Hi Sandra , both bars are in the city centre.
The apartment is right beside the city hall on the left hand side. You cant miss it with large windows. It should have a dj playing. Its a trendy type bar. http://www.apartmentbelfast.com/
The Merchant hotel is in Skipper Street, cathedral quarter of the city about 5 minutes from city hall, but still in city centre. It probably serves the best cocktails in Belfast. The jazz bar is at the back of the hotel(berts jazz bar) http://www.themerchanthotel.com/
