the da and grandad wre hired because they were  ex service.  They may have had Catholics but the corporation was unionist run until later

would be great to see, may even take the kids to fortress Windsor if there is a good team playing norn iron, hopefully the irish league will follow now, I think they could benefit in terms of crowds on a sunday

Lets see wet Sunday standing on the cold terrace of Newry or watching super Sunday in a comfy chair with a beer??? hmmmm. Sunday football would see the local game dead in no time.
Football should be played at 15.00 on a Saturday and 19.45 on a Wednesday, the way it used to be, in the good old days...
