Pints of Guinness
« on: October 23, 2007, 07:01:59 PM »
Does your local in Belfast or elsewhere in the Province pull a pint of Guinness and add a shamrock ??? One of the lassies at the Rott is now doing that ... needs a bit of practice though ... I used to get good shamrocks on pints in Dublin some years ago. If you finished your fairly quickly you could still see the shamrock. It's a nice touch for tourists.

I'll have to have words with Chris Roddy. The number of times I've mentioned his bar and not a freebie in sight.

I managed a bar and Guinness didn't go near a punter without decoration of some sort on it. O0

What like wee palm trees, little hats, swizzle sticks, cherries, slice of lime and sparklers?  A sort of "Dressed Stout"?

I almost forgot, and a bendy straw?
