ww1coins , odds and sods

HI, im looking old coins from around the ww1 period circa 1900 to 1920 , pennys ,shillings , etc etc, also any small items connected to ww1, im not a dealer ,im looking to add to my small collection I have of my grand parents medals etc, also if anyone has any info as to when military fares are held please let me know, regards ken

there is a Militaria fair held in Bangor, (Co. Down).
I believe the next one is planned for 8 Aug. 2014.  I will find the details and post them for your information.
This sounds like the ideal place for the type of memorabilia you are seeking.

A Correction   [
 
Ken, the date should have been,,,,,,,,Saturday, 9th  August 2014.
 
It starts about 10.00 o'clock in the morning and finishes about 3.30 in the afternoon.
Before noon is the best time to find bargains :) :)

Have an old coin in house, don't know what it is dated 1916, have to hunt it out.
