Anne Harper (clarinet) who plays on a regular basis with the Ulster Orchestra recently joined forces with Jonathan Simmance and Dominic Ijichi to form The Ultonia Trio. Their press release to the Belfast Telegraph a couple of months ago stated: "The Ultonia Trio aims to persue a fresh new direction in chamber music, blending the best of existing repertoire with our own adaptations of music from a much wider spectrum...." The group plans to bring a modern approach to chamber music to audiences throughout Ulster.
