So the school has gone, pass on your memories off the old days here !  Mr Hayes went painting in Canada and never returned !

read a former pupil of that school held a concert there recently and only charged his old mates 85 to see him.

As a contemporary of the artist who gave that concert, I can recall also looking out the window at Orangefield during my time there (58//59), watching the houses being built in Sandhill Park, etc. In retrospect, I should possibly have paid more attention to the lessons, I might have learned something.

Mr Hayes went to canoe down the Amazon. He didn't want to worry his parents, so never told them of his real intention. He didn't survive & was never heard of again!
