Bernie/Molly sorry you missed out on the tickets for Gerry. I always loved him on radio so down to earth and loved his laugh. Remember one day I rang show re a lemonade etc not being delivered  and they rang me back and I was in agony as my back had locked and he said something like how are you and I explained the del man was on my doorsteep and there was me in my pj's and this man was working my back. Well next day he read out a poem regarding how I had hurt my back, cleaning kitchen cupboards and how the man from maine had got me sorted. I then got a phone call from the station asking for address and Gerry sent me a copy of poem and his book. Lovely man and met him a few times while doing charity work he was very quiet on those occassions. He was a one off and greatly missed.

Brilliant Pat,  what a lovely thing for him to do, now had he been in a bad mood that day,  God knows what he would have said to you....lol

Have you still got the book?

No my tickets for the Blame Game are for the recording in Belfast next Thursday.

Bernie I still have the book and can even put my hand on it but the poem was special and  ...well it somewhere safe.....just need the old memory to perk up. If find it will post. Why do I put things safely away and cannot then find them and the things leave at my backside are always there. Have spent all week looking for my back gate key and it is somewhere safe but can I find it nooooooooooo and cant get my bin out.If you wish to borrow book you are welcome  :-*

Bernie I thought the Larne show was on last night on tv but couldn't get it and was hoping to see your lovely smiling face in the audience :-*  I always think of the bank were everyone was soooooo quiet and we felt a bit uncomfortable until we got to the cashier with the smile and the chat. Helen was the same in the Ulster Bank, so chirpy, was a pleasure to hear you and Helen, prob as well were a few buildings between the 2 of you as you had your customers in fits at times. .aah the good old days when I had money to lodge ha ha

Molly Rose/Bernie did you hear the radio programme Danny Boy? Was sad yet nice to hear Gerry's voice again on radio. That is my second favourite song. He was a very special man
