Hi Timmo

Thank you for the search.

I have filed this one, I don't believe it is the right girl. age out by about 9yrs, though that does not mean anything, the middle christian name would be new, again, nothing unusual.

Have spent the past morning looking for this couple, and Roberts sister Elizabeth and husband Thomas Radcliffe, who were the witnesses at Robert & Ellen's wedding 1937, again nothing. Seems the newer the data is the harder to find.

Thank you for the thought.

Richard
I came across this link in the 1911 Census might be of some interest.

Hi Timmo

Thank you for the check on the Bailey family.  Definitely not mine though.

The family moved from Aughnacloy, Co. Tyrone around the mid 1890s to Belfast.  Have documented the family from around 1840s.   Out of Robert siblings (3)  I can account for one sister that died in the 1920s one other sister, who never married that passed away in 2002 in Belfast.  So, that just leaves Robert himself and sister Elizabeth Bailey (mn Radcliffe) descendents that I am trying to trace. I even tried Facebook, no luck there either.

I am in contact with other Bailey descendents in Ireland, they do not have any knowledge of other family members.

Thank you for your contributions

Richard

Hi richard just on a point of information to help you. You should try to put up any ages for them example ages at the time they married and any birth dates you might have . For instance if they were a certain age at marrige work back their dates of birth. this will help you a lot in regards the Irish Census records. There should be something in it to trace. Good luck

A local newspaper story from November 1968 mentions a William Thomas Conway of 170 Ravenhill Avenue, presumably the same one shown in the 1960 street directory here:
https://www.lennonwylie.co.uk/qrcomplete1960.htm

Edited to add:  Looks like still there in September 1974 (date of following article):
