Hi there, i have O'Hanlon and McCann's on my family tree, not connected to each other though.  I have very little info on them because i haven't really started with those connections yet.  My granny's (Martha) maiden name was O' hanlon.  She came from a big family, some of the siblings are James, Henry, Joseph, Bridget, Cassie, Sarah, Agnes.  Her parents were called James O'Hanlon and Sarah Graham.  I know they were living in stanhope st in the carrickhill area in 1911.
My great grandmother on my paternal side was called Elizabeth McCann by her maiden name.  All i know of her is that she had a sister called Jinny and was probably born in the 1890s.

Could have something here, do you know who James father was,it is a Mary O'hanlon/Duggan that i am looking her father was Felix O'Hanlon from Armagh.she was in France st in 1901, and with her was a Catherine mccann,

but her daughter Hanna Duggan married a Hugh Mcgrogan and they lived in Stanhope st
The Mccann's that i am looking for have something to do with the Fyffe Banana?

Hi Bern

At Francis st 1901 census a Catherine Ohanlon age 50 widow and a Catherine Mccann age 70 widow,
It was a mary hanlon/duggan that i was looking for, but i think this could be her.
I have been told by the older member of my family the the mccann have somthink to do with us, but have not found it yet.

My g grandmother Bridget duggan was born at 63 smithfield in 1888, and her father death cert has him at 67 smithfield in 1892 he was a shoemaker

Hi
Millview you could be right, that could be my James o'Hanlon's mother.  I will have to turn my attention to that side of the tree.  If i get any more info i will post it here.
Bern, unfortunately your Elizabeth mcCann is not mine, mine was only married once (to John hart) and died young.
