rep1 khartoum st was at the end off middlepath st  and the start off foundry st
at the end of the st there was a large wall keeping people from the railway tracks

I was born in 1956 that area was being pulled down around 61 or there abouts.So I didn't know it, but I remember being brought to visit people in foundry st when i was very young.
I would love to see an old map or photos of those streets.

I was born in 1956 that area was being pulled down around 61 or there abouts.So I didn't know it, but I remember being brought to visit people in foundry st when i was very young.
I would love to see an old map or photos of those streets.
there was about 4 houses on the street if you can remember a fellow by
the name of patsy patterson rip he used to sell fruit and flowers in castle st
well he was born in same st

liveing in the strand by the name of tootlei went to school with a freddie tootle
hi frank, yes hailed from wee quinn st, cant say i kno the name but cud ask the older brothers if u give me a rough age of ur school mate or roughly where abouts on the strand he lived, have heard my brothers talking about foundry st and i think my late sister worked in an ice cream shop somewhere about there?

hi mickybo that guy i was speaking about lived about 4or5 houses from
richardsons we called it the bone yard your sister maybe worked in fuscos
they sold ice cream but they had great hot peas with lots of vinegar i can taste them now
 
also that guy would be about 70-71

hi frank, got talking 2 a couple of my older brothers about ur mate freddie tootle, and both knew him well, think he moved away 2 australia but my brother reckons het met him in london a few years back and thinks he has sadly passed on,also said that he had a sister, mary? who chummed around with my late sister, marie, who i mentioned worked in the ice cream parlour, but think the name was funsanios? (excuse spelling) not fuscos?

ur spelling cud b the rite one frank and if i find out any different will let u kno, same again with freddie, my brother also said when he met him in london he was with his brother? and that he thinks that it was freddie who passed on, again if i hear anythig else i will keep u informed.
