Anyone Remember  The Sally Army Citadel on the Mountpottinger Road.Their Silver Band used to march from it around the area. Before the troubles of course

Remember it well.  Used to attend it regularly with my wee granny when I was a young girl.

Not as of yet, but the man in the photo has a likeness to the Smiths that ran Harper's shop.

There were two chippies in the Strand both named Morrow but they were not related in any way. one was Sam Morrows, salvation army member. both he and his wife were nice people, their shop was at the corner of Altcar street. The other was Tucker Morrows at the corner of Woodstock street. Tucker is now the Head chef in the Balmoral hotel.
