Oh wow! Thanks for responding Frank. Etta is in England, Alice in Eire and Joan still in Belfast. My mum was also called Joan, still in Belfast. I remember James though he died a long time ago. Do you remember my Gran when she was living there with her husband Ned??

Sorry - don't want to invade you with questions, but so great you've replied!

Hello again, I just heard from my publisher my book Buying Time will be out within ten days! Here's the new version of the paperback cover, the original will be on the e-book cover. The gold lettering works really well with the tones in the photo, here's the link
http://relaxatnight.weebly.com/new-this-month.html

and the link to my profile and opening chapters on the NR site

I've a topic Buying Time on The Lounge thread if you want more information on the content of the book. I'll post again when it's out. Thanks again for the interest.

Is Brendan Mulhulls mother from Slate Street (Mervyn family) still around. I am a Mervyn originally from Beechmount. I do not think we are related to the Slate Street Mervyn's. Who knows where we all originally came from. My grandfather was from Dublin. We are trying to establish a link. Is there anyone that could point me to those Mervyn's. Martin M
