Amazing indeed in the modern era given the level of training, fitness and commitment of all teams. To be able - not just to compete - but to consistently reach Ulster finals and win them is a really impressive achievement. My wife is a 'casual' Armagh supporter, her cousin is an absolute Cross and Armagh fanatic. I support An Dún and shall keep a low profile!

Cross beaten. Dubs win. Good for St Pat's - depression for that section of Armagh from which my in-laws hail. Depression for me since I had been 'slegging' some Dubs I know and have to eat humble pie. As for 'end of an era' - don't know - wouldn't write the Cross 'Gers off too easily!

Really starting to warm up now. Kilcoo through the preliminary round. Maghery, on the shores on Lough Neagh, are the Armagh champions.
