of Ireland may be interested in The Cooper Collection at PRONI. There are over 3000 images in the Collection.

sorry about starting rumours but the price for the copying of the will was actually £5.00 the fella helping us made a mistake. it was 95 pence to get a copy of a census form .

The last time I was in PRONI I was told that everything on those scratchy
microfiche,  were going to be put on a computer.
Anyone know if this work has started yet

I'm not certain if PRONI have everything on computer, Mageeka. When were you there ??? Joebhoy used the microfiche at the end of July. There is one computer that has to be booked. I'd better make a return visit.

I was in PRONI in May and it was almost a waste of time .  The eyesight isn't good and the graininess was rough.    I thought that a few years ago, they were talking of doing away with the Microfisch after transferring everything to computer .

A black mark then for PRONI Mageeka 8) I wonder if I'm too early to give them another one. I requested a link back to the Forum a few weeks ago and have not received a reply other than a young woman returning my phone call enquiring whether they had received my email and would they be linking back. I've had a couple of link backs from Scottish sites and one from Malahide in Co. Dublin. You'd think PRONI would link back. I didn't think on the matter of people in wheelchairs when I was there .. can you recall if there was sufficient room for a person in a wheelchair in the large room? Both the Central Library and the Linenhall Library's facilities are adequate.

the records above are for Dundonald Pres. Church - is there anyway to access this outside PRONI?

If not are there people for hire that would do a look-up for me?

I see that PRONI is closed - as of Monday until Dec. 8th
