I'll be staying in Belfast City Centre at the Travelodge and I got to meet someone the next day at the Rex bar, what I want to know is that will I face any hostility for being English on the Shankill or Rex Bar?

I haven't met him, I've just been told to meet him by someone else.

Ask who ever told you to meet him then.

I'm English, have been to Belfast many times. My family are from the Shankill, I have been there and the Falls many times and never experienced any hostility what so ever. I take my kids, we have a great time, it's a wonderful little city. Relax the people of Belfast are extremely friendly and helpful.
