Hi Dub...great to see you on this forum again.  Sean Mc Cafferty was also an old exstudent from school.   I would not have recognised Joe in the photo.   Old students from the school should not allow this thread to die??

  Sam, so was his younger ( fair haired, brother. )  Joe could have been in the same year as him. I remember him as a very pleasant lad.

I was sad to have read about late Barney burns.  I now live in Wales since 1966.  I often think about people I knew.  Girls would have surnames differently through marriage so can't find anyone.  I met Barney in the late 50s.  He did train in mount pottinger entry. When I met him he had gone to Olympics.  He was such a lovely young man then we were on our teens.  I don't know from comments about him what year he passed.  So sad when we know people and then find out they are gone.  he would have been my age.  Can anyone tell me about him. I think he lived in the oldparl roaf
