Sad news that Paddy Graham has died.
Based in the Markets, Paddy was Irish welterweight champion.

Sorry to hear about Paddy. He and Peter Sharpe, died about 3 years ago, had some great fights with each other. A much respected boxer, RIP Paddy

Sorry to hear about Paddy Graham. He was a real gentleman. I Last spoke to him at Harry Enright's funeral.   Rest in Peace Paddy.

Paddy, a real gentleman will be missed by everyone who knew him. My mum and dad thought the world of Paddy and he visited them often when.they were alive. He was at both their funerals and I wish I  could do him the honour of attending his. RIP Champ

A picture of Paddy took pride of place in Mr Dowling's South Belfast boxing club. I wonder did Paddy train there when he turned professional?  As an amateur he trained in St George's club.

Paddy trained with my Dad (big Davy) I remember Paddy.living in Kimberly street.A few years ago when I was home I seen Paddy with a couple of his buddies down at Corn market. I went over to say hello, now he hadn't seen me for over 40 years when I was 21. He looked at me and said Davy Dowling, you're a picture of your Dad. A lovely memory for me.. I phoned him a few years ago, I live in USA and he told me to come over for a cup of tea the next time I'm home. Regretfully I never made it. A lovely man and if any of you get a chance i would appreciate you saying goodbye for me and passing my condolences on to his family.

Paddyjoe 49 Gerry died in the USA. When I knew him he was like his brother Jim ( a really good boxer ) and a  down to earth lad.
