Old Belfast Street Sign Replicas
« on: January 25, 2017, 02:58:07 PM »
Anyone know where I would get an old style Belfast street sign replica made?? You know the black tile and white letter style ones. Seen a stall years ago in st George's market selling them but haven't seen them since.

Thanks  ;)

I got one about three years ago from a stall beside TK Maxx in the city centre . The stall was actually closed but there was a contact number which I rang and I had the street sign I wanted within about five days delivered to my house by the man who made it, it was 60 if I remember correctly.

I don't know if the stall is still there , perhaps you could take a look or another forum member might know.

The black and white tiles weren't actually ceramic on the replica but I doubt anyone would know the difference.

Have not been in Belfast in over a year but had reason to walk along Howard street and saw a shop selling souvenirs including street signs. That was last week

Alas no .there were samples on a display board on the pavement and i was hurrying to the opera house to see Buddy Holly show.
I think the shop was originally at Belfast Castle
