Brendan is almost blind and seemingly will end up that way

Try Rathlin Island - five miles off the coast of Ballycastle. Protestant and Catholic live together in perfect harmony-and have done for many years.
Not available in Northern Ireland.

Yes indeed, good example, but there is also the Malone Road and Cultra in North Down.  :)

Apart from the Malone Road, can't  think of anywhere in Belfast, post 1969, sadly.  :(

The people of Belfast both Catholic and protestant are the friendliest groups in the world. The extremists on both sides have tried to divide the country with terrorism but individuals carried on to meet work colleagues on neutral ground and retain their friendship.
People attend weddings, and funerals at in different church religions, because of the strong bond of friendships.
The bigots and extremist people should open their eyes and ears,
that bigotry is not welcome anymore. It is time to remove the unsightly peace walls.Bless the peoples.

Unfortunately for people to live together they need to be out of the ghetto areas and that isn't going to happen, anytime soon. As far as the 'peace walls' are concerned, I have always said it is a matter for the people who live either side of these walls and no one else.  ::)
