Saturday 5th August 4pm Croke Park - Armagh v Tyrone
« on: July 30, 2017, 10:08:50 PM »
There is plenty of people on Belfast Forum who will be interested in this All-Ireland Quarter Final. In fact I met a helluva lot of Belfast people on Saturday at the Armagh v Kildare match.

Can Armagh keep their run going? They are on a roll, playing with confidence and have great resilience.

Are Tyrone over the hill? Or has Mickey Harte brought in enough youngsters?

It's gonna be interesting, exciting and high intensity!

Looks like Armagh can keep going and maybe build momentum - great performance on Saturday. I think there may be enough left in Tyrone. You are right - looks like it will be another good day out for both sets of supporters. I will have to wait another while for Down but my wife and her cousin will make sure I'm cheering Armagh. In secret I will be wishing Mickey Harte well.

Better  luck next year Armagh, but I suppose the best team must have won. :)

Péil. Cumann Lúthcleas Gael! Football - not soccer. GAA. It was a pasting and there's no doubt about that!

I don't follow the game all year round but definitely have an interest in the All-Ireland.

Although it is acknowledged as a bit of a jolly for Australian and Irish players, I like to watch Australia v Ireland.

I wonder how it will go in 2017,

Australia has head hunted quite a number of Irish players to the great game of Aussie Rules, the most prominent being Jim Stynes,

I think you could rule out Armagh and Tyrone playing lawn bowls, cricket or 'what' at Croke Park.
